The Decision of the Ministry of Public Security on Amending the Provisions on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving License (Order No.139 for short) will come into effect tomorrow. According to the new regulations, yesterday, the traffic control department of Beijing announced a series of adjustments in combination with driver training, examination and service management, relaxed the conditions for applying for a driver’s license, made the driver’s license examination open, delayed the physical examination age of elderly drivers, and refined the handling rules and procedures for trainee drivers’ requirements on the road, which will further improve the examination and management system for motor vehicle drivers and provide convenience for drivers to handle related business.

If the right lower limb or both lower limbs are missing or lose motor function but can sit on their own, they can apply for a motor vehicle driver’s license for a small automatic passenger car for the disabled.
